The Shared Decision-Making Team (SDMT) meets twice a month to decide upon everyday school policy. There are no ninth- or tenth-grade candidates, and the eleventh-grade candidate is running unopposed.
Why are you running?
I ran last year and I really liked it. It was a pretty cool experience being able to see what’s happening behind the scenes. It’s nice to see everything in the background and see how things are run.
What do you hope to accomplish if you win?
I will be continuing to voice the opinion of our future senior class to administration.
What new ideas will you bring to the table?
I think a big one will be de-stressing everyone’s lives since it gets pretty hectic. I want to show to administration and faculty that we do a lot of stuff outside of Pine View and it will be nice to lessen the stress we have in order to make our lives more enjoyable.
