Monday, Mar. 10: Decades Day and Door Decorating
To kick off Spirit Week, each class dressed up as a different decade freshmen dressed as the 1970s, sophomores as the 1980s, juniors as the 2000s, and seniors as the 1990s. Each class also decorated doorways around campus following the theme ‘Strive for Greatness, Grow with Purpose’. Freshmen decorated the front office, sophomores decorated the guidance office, juniors decorated the auditorium, and seniors decorated bldg 17.
Tuesday, Mar. 10: Twin Day and Tug of War
Tuesday was Twin Day, where students matched outfits with their friends. In the afternoon, the final tug‑of‑war showdown came down to seniors versus sophomores and the sophomores pulled through for the win.
Wednesday, Mar. 11: Character Day and Ultimate Frisbee
Students showed up to school dressed as their favorite characters. After school, classes headed to the fields for an Ultimate Frisbee match, where the seniors secured the win.
Thursday, Mar. 12: Vintage PV shirt day and Soccer
Students showed off vintage Pine View merchandise, bringing back memories from retired elementary and middle school shirts. At the soccer game in the afternoon the freshman came out strong and earned a well deserved win.
Friday, Mar. 13: Dodgeball
The final day of Spirit Week brought everyone out in their class colors and dodgeball shirts. Overall, the seniors won the majority of the week’s events, and they capped it off by taking first place in Friday’s dodgeball tournament and earning the trophy.
