Today, Pine View celebrated its annual Veterans Day program. To begin the event, elementary student council members and students close to veterans had breakfast with the veterans Pine View hosted. Middle and high schoolers cheered the veterans on in the quad area as they walked to the gym, where elementary schoolers honored them. At the gym, the elementary choir sang the national anthem. Prior to the event, gifts had been prepared for both the visiting veterans and veterans not on campus. Pine View was expecting around fifty veterans and plan to send out multiple gifts out. The total amount of gifts prepared were about one hundred eighty six.
